Our Story

GRADIENT celebrates the radiant arts and vibrant cultural landscape of the Hudson Valley

Why we chose Gradient for our name

Gradient is an arts related word we love the sound of and contains within it a form of the word RADIANT. Gradient signifies a smooth transition between colors, like the gradual shifts between seasons, between one location and another, and between the process of creation to its outcome another can experience. And a gradient is an incline, a nod to the geographical heights and depths of the Hudson Valley.

What we offer

A selection of carefully crafted viewings of contemporary museums, galleries and artists’ studios for current exhibitions and behind-the-scenes access to artists’ process while enjoying the luminous landscape and its seasonal culinary experiences.

The Hudson Valley is home to extraordinary locally sourced eateries, breweries, distilleries and wineries. Gradient finds the perfect one to end each tour, savoring the day with new flavors and friends.

Meet Your Guide

After moving my studio to the Hudson Valley 20 years ago, I fell in love with the region's extraordinary light and vibrant arts community. I'm excited to share these findings with you through carefully curated experiences that blend art, culture, and the Valley's farm-to table food and drink. I am passionate about making and discussing the arts!
